LMC-TV has three production facilities, one in the Mamaroneck High School Palmer Unit and a second in the Mamaroneck Library (off the Emelin Theatre lobby), and a third in the Mamaroneck Town Center. Residents of Larchmont and Mamaroneck, including residents of that portion of the Rye Neck school district within the Village of Mamaroneck, who can demonstrate proficiency in using the LMC-TV production equipment, or is willing to be trained to do so. A new production facility in Rye Neck is to begin operation in September. Residents who want to produce a show may also get people who know how to use television production equipment, whether they reside in our service area or not, to help them.

LMC-TV Studio One - Television Center at Mamaroneck High School

A full-featured 50' X 30' television production studio featuring 3 JVC studio production cameras, chromakey, teleprompter, full dimmer-controlled lighting grid, graphics and character generator, 8 input audio mixer and SVHS videotape recording. Studio is capable of shooting musical ensembles, panel discussions with audience as well as dance and dramatic pieces. Editing facilities include 4 SVHS edit bays including one A/B-roll edit suite.
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-10pm

LMC-TV Studio 2 -
In the Mamaroneck Library
A smaller (20' X 20') insert studio featuring 3 Sony studio cameras, lighting grid, full
video switcher control, character and graphics generator, 8 input audio mixer. Studio 2 is
capable of shooting small musical and dramatic performances and discussion shows.
Editing includes cuts only SVHS editing with full titling, audio mixing, special effects, and
a Casablance AVIO non-linear editor. Studio 2 is capable of shooting in the Emilin
Theater with full studio control through three 300 foot camera extension cables.
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm and by appointment on Saturday and other times.

LMC-TV Headquarters and Playback Center -At the Town Center
LMC-TV's administrative offices and playback center is in the Town Hall of the Town of Mamaroneck. The playback center programs all 3 of LMC-TV's channels (75,76 and 77) with a state-of-the-art robotic tape playback system manufactured by Tiltrac Corporation. LMC-TV maintains a near 24 hour programming schedule.

A by-appointment-only studio shared with Rye Neck High School featuring an AVID MC Express non-linear editor.

LMC-TV's Portable Production Packages-

  • Field production packages for location shooting includes 5 Panasonic AG 456 SVHS Camcorders, tripods, lavalier and handheld microphones, Lowel 3 head portable light kit.
  • For specially qualified persons, LMC-TV has a JVC DV500 digital camcorder.
  • For multi-camera field production, LMC-TV has its "Studio In A Box" featuring a field video switcher, audio mixer, 3 camera monitors, preview and program monitor: all necessary microphones and cables to cover meetings and sports events.

All LMC-TV equipment and studios are free to the Larchmont-Mamaroneck community for use on shows to air on LMC-TV. For outside users and other uses LMC-TV equipment rental rates apply.
